What is dry needling?
Dry needling is the procedure of stimulating myofascial trigger points with the use of thin filament needles. These trigger points are usually small muscle fibre contraction knots, which are related to the bodies neuromuscular function.
Dry needling is different to acupuncture in that the focus is on western medicine principles of research.
